Digital support
Introduction
The purpose of digital support services is to help you use electronic services and devices independently and safely. We will help you in everyday transacting and digital problems, but identifiers, passwords, and key figures are private. For your safety, we will not take care of your personal matters on your behalf, and we will not take a stand on the contents of electronic transacting (e.g., contents entered on forms). When needed, we will refer you to a relevant expert.
What kind of digital support do you need?
The service content can vary from user guidance to application installation and deployment. Each operator providing digital support determines the type of digital support it offers. Most services are available in Finnish, Swedish and English.

Many of the city's offices have computers available to the customers. The computers have basic office software and internet access. Some computers are equipped with special software, such as graphic design software. Public computers can be used free of charge, but some of them must be reserved in advance. Instructions on how to reserve and use public computers are explained on each location’s website.

Libraries’ computers and printing. In some libraries, you can also reserve the following services through the Timmi 360 service: work premises, video conferencing room, media workstation, or 3D printer. Tikkurila library has a device for digitizing sound recordings, and you will find it through the Hae palvelun perusteella (“Search on the basis of service”) under the menu. Make a reservation through the Timmi 360 service.
Myyrmäki and Tikkurila Vantaa-info have computers, scanners, as well as printers for customers to take care of their official business. If you need help with the devices, ask Vantaa-info employees for help. The printouts are always black-and-white A4 sheets. Printouts and photocopies related to transacting with the authorities are free of charge. Other printouts and photocopies are subject to a charge.
You can use a computer at Koivukylä, Myyrmäki and Tikkurila citizens' houses. Printing is currently unavailable. You will get more information at the citizens' houses.
You can use guidance centre Ohjaamo’s public computers to take care of matters related to education, training or employment.
The wellbeing services county's social services offices have computers for, for instance, taking care of matters related to social assistance.
The Vantaa employment services’ service centre has computers for job-hunting.

Vantaa Info centres provide advice on the use of the city's electronic services. You can ask for help with, for instance, Early Childhood Education’s VaSa service, Vantaa feedback channel, or the lupapiste.fi service.
Vantaa multilingual guidance serves at Employment and Integration Services’ transacting place, at Myyrmäki Vantaa-info, as well as at International House Helsinki. In addition, we serve over the phone and by email. The service’s language provision varies depending on the day and transacting point in question. Vantaan Järjestörinki ry (Vantaa Association Circle) helps customers with their own devices in Arabic, Dari, English, Farsi Ukrainian, Estonian, Russian and Finnish.
Youth services Ohjaamo's office helps you in issues related to, for instance, job seeking, education and training, housing, finances, health, and leisure time. Digital advisors support customers under the age of 30 with tasks such as using Työmarkkinatori (Job Market Finland), handling digital aspects of applying for jobs or study places, and learning basic digital skills. The employment services office in Vantaa helps you to find employment and study-related services. Digital advisors support customers with, for example, using Työmarkkinatori (Job Market Finland), handling digital aspects of job applications, and learning basic digital skills. Digital support channels
Digital support is provided as a face-to-face or remote service. Some of the actors provide digi support every day, while some are on-call at specific times in different service points. Check on-call service hours and any pre-reservation practices on the digital support provider’s website. You can access different operators’ remote digital support channels via the menu below.
The City of Vantaa also offers free-of-charge customer computers for independent transacting.
